Chana Masala


Serve :6

Ingredients :

·        Raw white chickpea/Kabuli chana  250 g  (soaked overnight 8-9 hr)
·        Salt/Namak  (as per the taste)
·        Turmeric/Haldi 1 tsp
·        Mustard oil/sarson ka tail  3 tbsp
·        Mustard seed/Rai ka daana/sarson ka dana  ½ tsp
·         Ginger/Adrak  1 tsp finely chopped
·         Onion/Pyaaz 2 chopped
·         Tomato/Tamatar 2 chopped
·         Fresh Cream/Malai 1 cup
·        Fresh coriander/Dhaniya Patta
·
Method :

·         Add white chickpea, water, salt, turmeric in a cooker and let it for 3 whistle at medium flame.
·         Then let it cool.
·         our kabuli chana is ready.
·         Heat 3 tbsp oil in pan, add mustard seed, ginger chopped sauté for half minute then add onion again sauté till golden brown
·         Add tomato sauté then add masala for gravy and sauté it for 10 minute then add cream and again sauté till masala fried nicely
·         After that add fresh coriander and boiled kabuli chana/chickpea.
·         Mix it well let it boil at low flame
·         Chana masala recipe is done
·         Serve with chapatti, puri, jeera rice enjoy
