Ajwain Ki Poori


Serve : 3                                                                              
Ingredients :
·         Wheat flour 4 cup
·         Carom seed 1/4 tsp
·         Ghee 1 tbsp (for dough)
·         Salt (as per taste)
·         Sunflower Oil  for deep frying (any vegetable oil)

Method :
For dough:
·         Take wheat flour into bowl
·         Add carom seeds, salt and ghee (take a tadka pan and heat ghee then add) knead it well.
·         Add 1 cup of water and knead well then again add water slowly slowly until the dough comes together in a solid ball.
·         Keep dough aside for 10-15 minute.
·         Now dough is ready to make puri.
For deep frying:
·         Make small balls (pede) of dough and roll out into small circles.
·         At high flame heat oil in pan for deep frying
·         After that check whether oil is ready to fry puri’s .
·         Take a small ball of dough and try to fry it, if oil is ready for frying then small ball is immediately comes up.
·         Then  add one puri at a time and fry gently pressing down with the frying spoon or slotted spoon in a circular motion.
·         Turn over when puffed up and fry the puri till golden brown.
·         Serve with your favorite sabji  and desserts like malai aamras.
